Handling the Weak Defense, Barcelona Aim for Inter’s Defender
By news-admin
Milan Skriniar
DBasia.news – Barcelona’s trend is declining despite the leading position in the 2018-2019 LaLiga temporary standing. Proving this, there is a worrying fact from this team, the fact that they always failed to win in the three recent matches.
Barcelona just played draw against Girona and Athletic Bilbao plus defeated in the match against Leganes. The highlight is that the team got conceded 8 goals, the worse among the big 5 of the standing.
Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde uttered his anxiety considering the weak defense, especially since their important defender Samuel Umtiti got injured. Hence, the management is eyeing the center back to support the team.
The candidate is FC Internazionale defender, Milan Skriniar. The interest from Barcelona to Skriniar is trending among the Slovakian media, the hometown of Skriniar.
The current situation is the 23-year-old player is actually negotiating the contract extension with Inter but hasn’t reached an agreement. In the summer transfer market, Manchester United once stated the interest to Skriniar.
Now, the hunt is becoming more competitive as Barcelona join. It was rumored that Inter set the transfer fee for Skriniar worth 85 million euro. But, Barcelona are trying to negotiate. Surely, the relation between Inter-Barcelona will be good. Last season, Barcelona even loaned Rafinha to I Nerazzurri.
