DBasia.news – The U23 Indonesia national team midfielder Hanif Sjahbandi was blessed contributing the goal to Hong Kong’s net in the last match of Serie A football 2018 Asian Games at Patriot Stadium, Bekasi, Monday (20/8). The goal brought Indonesia won 3-1.

Hanif scored the goal at 94′, 2 minutes after he replaced the striker Alberto ‘Beto’ Goncalves.

The goal was maximizing the passing from Stefano Lilipaly just minutes before the match ended. Indonesia previously scored the goal through Irfan Jaya (46′) and Stefano Lilipaly (85′) responding to Hong Kong’s goal from Hok Ming Lau (38′).

“I’m blessed to help the team in achieving the victory. I hope this winning would make me and the teams gain more winnings. The goal and victory for those who fought for the national team and supported us,” Hanif Sjahbandi said.

“I replaced Beto. I just thought to add the defense. Second, to help the counter-attack. Fortunately, I came with the full energy and I could help the attack and thank God scored the goal,” said the Arema FC player.

The victory made Indonesia as the winner of Group A. Indonesia passed to the round of 16 and will meet the Uni Arab Emirates on August 24.

“Hopefully (we win). Our job is to follow the coach’s instruction. I think there would be no problem against the UAE,” Hanif Sjahbandi explained.
