Haringga Sirla’s Family Accepted the Donation from Charity Match

DBasia.news – The family of Haringga Sirla, Persija Jakarta’s supporter who died in the match against Persib Bandung has received the donation.

As we know, the charity match between Arema FC against Madura United was conducted at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang. The competition also became the declaration momentum by Liga 1 clubs, rivalry without violence.

Attended the occasion of giving the donation to Haringga’s parents, Madura United manager Haruna Soemitro, Arema FC general manager Ruddy Widodo, PErsija director Gede Widiade, Persia president Ferry Paulus, and Persela manager Yunan Achmadi.

“This is from the previous charity match. It’s around 400 million rupiahs include the competition fee. It’s 251 million rupiahs in total and the rest will be given for Palu and Donggala,” Haruna Soemitro said.

According to Haruna, the donation for Haringga is a caring gesture from other supporters. “The fact showed that in short time, Indonesian supporters are not always violent, but they have a big concern to others.”

“The donation is actually from supporters to supporters. The club just facilitated it. We want the supporters’ violence case to end. We appreciate the initiative from the supporters,” Haruna Soemitro added.

Meanwhile, Haringga’s mother, Mirah, declared the gratitude for the concern despite she never wants his son to be a victim.

“Thank you so much for praying for Haringga. I hope that he will rest in peace. This should never happen again and please stop it to Haringga. Football should be peaceful. But I hope the sanction is conducted.”

“If I can, I prefer my son to live. Now he’s gone,” she sobbed.
