Havertz Admits Northern Ireland was Hard to Defeat

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Germany must wait until the second round to appear off against Northern Ireland. This is recognized by two young midfielders of Die Mannschaft, Kai Havertz and Julian Brandt.

Havertz said, Northern Ireland played open since the first minute of the match began. This makes the German national team unable to do much movement.

“We were only able to develop the game in the second half. Northern Ireland managed to make us uncomfortable with the way they played. But, fortunately, we were able to find the right solution. This team is inhabited by several young players who still want to learn,” he said.

Brandt also said so. The player who this season defended Borussia Dortmund said his team had difficulty finding the right playstyle at the beginning of the match.

“Overall we played better than when we lost to the Netherlands last week. It’s just that we are difficult to find the right rhythm to play. The first round did not go well. We only focused on implementing the strategy during the second half,” Brandt said.
