“I met Ronaldo while on holiday in Ibiza and I saw him at the beach. He was busy enjoying a bottle of beer,” Crouch said in an interview with the Daily Mail.

“Every time he finished his drink, the supermodel who accompanied him would get more.”

Not wanting to miss a rare moment, Crouch tried to approach Ronaldo. He hopes the legend recognize him and would want to talk and take pictures with him.

“The opportunity to be able to take pictures with him is impossible for me to miss so I approached him. I had hoped he would say: ‘Oh, you are Crouch!’ However, he did not recognize me, “he continued.

“Then I kept taking pictures with him and he didn’t realize that I was a footballer at the time.”

Although disappointed, Crouch still admires Ronaldo, he called R9 as the most coveted player to be his duet partner.

“Dennis Bergkamp is special but my first choice (to become a duet partner) is Ronaldo. I’m not sure our style will be suitable but playing 90 minutes with him in a team will make my life so meaningful,” concluded the player who retired last year.
