Hiddink Becomes the Coach of China

DBasia.news – China Football Association (CFA) has officially announced the appoint of Guus Hiddink. The former coach of PSV Eindhoven, Valencia, Real Madrid, and Chelsea is plotted to lead the team ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Arriving on early September, Guus Hiddink is monitoring the U21 China who played in the CFA International Youth Football Tournament. The U21 China national team are preparing for the Olympics.
The announcement also confirmed that the 71-year-old coach who handled the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia, Russia, and Turkey national teams becomes the coach of China. The Dutch coach along with Marcello Lippi will work to fulfill the target of China in the worldwide level.

“CFA Officially announced today that Guus Hiddink is appointed as the head coach of Chinese U-21 national team. The manager will begin his tenure with a training camp in October,” CFA wrote.
CFA also explained that Guus Hiddink has the main duty to bring the team to fulfill the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Certainly, he has to bring China to qualify it through the U23 Asian Cup in 2019.
“The main task is to go for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In the days to come, under the leadership of Hiddink and his coaching team, the under-21 boys will pursue their Olympic dreams,” the statement continued.
