Ibrahimovic is Getting Closer to AC Milan
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Zlatan Ibrahimovic is getting closer to returning to AC Milan after reports states that his contract does not depend on whether or not Milan qualifies for a European tournament next season.
The veteran goal executioner is now free as a contract player after not renewing his contract at LA Galaxy.
Negotiations between him and Milan came to a dead end last week, but now it seems to have found an important breakthrough that could crystallize his intention to return to playing in Italy.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere della Sera, Ibra’s contract would be six months with an automatic renewal option for the next season.
Unlike the initial plan that the contract extension is linked to Milan’s qualification for the Champions League or Europa League, the new contract proposal mentions that Zlatan will be judged on his performance and goal statistics for the next 18 months.
Milan hopes to make a decision in the next few days so that Ibra could start playing at the Milanello training complex starting December 30.
