DBasia.news – AC Milan are active ahead of the winter transfer market on January.

After ensuring Lucas Paqueta transfer from Flamengo with 35 million euro transfer fee, Rossoneri were negotiating with one of Europe’s reputable agents, Mino Raiola, in a private meeting a few days ago.

Raiola talked to Milan sporting director Leonardo and also another director Paolo Maldini regarding two things. First is the contract extension of Giacomo Bonaventura ends in 2020, and the second is about Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Milan want to extend Bonaventura’s contract until 2022 with an upgraded salary. Milan are happy with the 29-year-old player contribution so far, whereas he is the prominent player since 2014.

Meanwhile, for Ibrahimovic, Milan are considering to recruit the former player who supported them in 2010-2012. In that period, Ibra scored one Serie A and Italy Super Cup trophies.

Despite he is already 37, the playing level, quality, and mentality of Ibra are still reliable for the European clubs. Moreover, Ibra has the experience of playing in Europe with Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Milan, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and Manchester United.

Ibra still has a contract until 2020 with LA Galaxy. However, it’s possible for him to return to Europe and plays there while he can. If he returns to San Siro, Ibra will complete the strength of Milan’s attacking line with Patrick Cutrone and Gonzalo Higuain.
