If Still on Duty, Moratti Will Bring Ronaldo to Inter

DBasia.news – The former Inter Milan president, Massimo Moratti, said he will get Cristiano Ronaldo if he is still the president. Moratti also praised Juventus step to recruit Ronaldo.
Juventus got Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid during the 2018 summer transfer market. I Bianconeri gave 100 million euro (Rp1,6 trillion) to recruit Ronaldo.
Besides, Juventus have to pay high for Cristiano Ronaldo salary. The 33-year-old striker will be paid 30 million euro (Rp504 billion).
Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival steals the spotlight to Serie A. Many people praises Juventus decision to recruit the captain of Portugal national team.
Morratti is one of them. The 73-year-old man assumes Juventus as the right place to have Ronaldo.
“Juve did things right, I like the surprise this represented for the fans, a real gift,” Moratti told Rtv San Marino.
“I saw the same situation that I experienced with (Brazilian) Ronaldo, congratulations to them because they did a beautiful thing,” he added.
Meanwhile, Moratti admits that he would do the same thing if he still in Inter Milan. He considered buying Cristiano Ronaldo.
“If I were still President maybe I’d have thought about it too…,” said Moratti.
Massimo Moratti was the Inter Milan president since 1995 until 2013. Currently, Moratti is still the honorary chairman of I Nerazzurri.
