Inter Legend Condemned Poor Players’ Mentality

By news-admin

DBasia.news – From the team speculated to be the strong candidate to achieve Scudetto against Juventus, Inter Milan became the weak team who didn’t get the victory in two initial matches of Serie A. Defeated 1-0 against Sassuolo, La Beneamata wasted the golden chance to win the match against Torino after the 2-0 dominance ended in 2-2 draw score.

In the beginning, Inter won by Ivan Perisisc and Stefan de Vrij goals. In the second round, Torino took revenge and used Inter’s laxity who slowed down and followed the gap. Andrea Belotti and Soualiho Meite balanced the score.

Inter’s performance was in contrary against club transfer activity when recruiting Radja Nainggolan, Sime Vrsaljko, Kwadwo Asamoah, Lautaro Martinez, De Vrij, and Matteo Politano.

Club legend who played in Inter 1988-1998 Nicola Berti was upset seeing Mauro Icardi and friends’ performance. Inter’s current squad considered didn’t respect or interpret the precious feeling while wearing the legendary club shirt.

“Inter players must understand who they’re playing in front of and the shirt they’re wearing. They owe it to the 60,000 fans at San Siro on Sunday. Spalletti must work on mentality,” Berti said reported by Football-Italia.

Berti expected Inter’s performance would be better after the international break on September. “Many of their players also came back from the World Cup so after the next international break, you’ll see the real Inter,” Berti concluded.
