DBasia.news – Inter Milan took a role in eradicating the corona virus in Italy. Recently, the Nerazzurri returned to donating as many as 300 thousand masks.
The development of the corona virus in Italy has been rapid. In fact, Italy is one of the countries outside of China with the largest number of corona virus victims.
The situation also disrupted the course of Serie A 2019/20. The league body has decided to suspend all matches until early April.
In that situation, Inter Milan continues to play an active role in helping the general public. For the third time, Inter and Suning gave donations in the form of 300 thousand masks for medical purposes and various health products. The assistance was sent directly to the Italian National Civil Protection Agency.
La Beneamata’s President, Steven Zhang, hopes the assistance provided can help overcome the corona virus problem. Zhang called on all parties to no longer look at their background to unite against the corona virus.
“We hope the experience in China that successfully defeated the corona virus can help stop the spread of the virus in Italy quickly. We will continue to contribute to supporting Italy in an emergency situation like this,” Steven Zhang explained on the official Inter Milan website.
“No matter which team you support, no matter where you come from, now and always we will fight as a team,” said the president.
Previously, two Serie A players, Daniele Rugani and Manolo Gabbiadini tested positive for corona virus. From England, the latest news stated that Mikel Arteta also suffered the same fate.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are undergoing a quarantine period after meeting Juventus in the last match. At that time, Daniele Rugani was on the bench.
