Inter Milan Legend Prefers Mauro Icardi than Romelu Lukaku

Mauro Icardi
DBasia.news – Inter Milan legend from 1960-1977, Sandro Mazzola, also spoke about Inter’s transfer in overhauling the front line. The Nerazzurri wanted to recruit Manchester United striker, Romelu Lukaku, as a substitute for Mauro Icardi.
The former Italian national team striker admitted he preferred to see Icardi rather than Lukaku, to duet with Edin Dzeko, who was also the target of La Beneamata. Mazzola considered Icardi as one of Europe’s top strikers.
“For the front line, Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko are strikers of global value, but I will always choose Mauro Icardi,” said Mazzola, as reported by Calciomercato.
“Between Lukaku and the Bosnian striker (Dzeko), I will always choose Maurito, he is a very good footballer and I am sad to see him on the selling list,” he added.
Lukaku is indeed a striker who is wanted directly by Inter’s new coach, Antonio Conte. Icardi’s departure from Inter is also greater as the club and Conte have insisted to no longer use the player’s service.
