DBasia.news – Inter Milan is reportedly trying to bring Croatia midfielder, Ivan Rakitic.
Inter Milan is said to be ready to accommodate Rakitic, whose contract will not be renewed by Barcelona next summer.
Rakitic’s future at Camp Nou began to fade with Blaugrana indicating that he was reluctant to fulfill a salary increase request or extend his contract that will be completed in June 2021.
Barcelona have even completed the transfer of the new midfielder, Frenkie de Jong from Ajax Amsterdam for the 2019/20 season, which is increasingly putting pressure on Rakitic’s position.
Rakitic, who will be 31 years old next month, becomes the second Croatian international midfielder to be approached by Inter after Real Madrid coach Luka Modric earlier this season.
If he joins Inter, then Rakitic will meet two Croatian players at the Giuseppe Meazza, Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic.
