It’s Hard to Compare Lacazette to Other Strikers

DBasia.news – Arsenal coach Unai Emery admitted that he has been eyeing and impressed to his prominent striker, Alexandre Lacazette since a long time.

He thinks since coaching Paris Saint-Germain (2016-2018) and Lacazette played in Lyon (2010-2017), Emery started to watch him since 2016-2018.

The Spanish 46-year-old coach has been coaching top players like Neymar, Edinson Cavani, and Kylian Mbappe. But, Emery won’t compare him to Lacazette.

“They are different players, it is very difficult to compare. But for example, when I arrived at PSG we were thinking to sign Lacazette. His quality and his characteristics also we liked at PSG,” Emery revealed.

“Also, the people who were working there, they said to us, ‘This player has the quality to play for PSG’ when we were there. He was at Lyon and it wasn’t easy to have the conversation or to sign a player from Lyon or from PSG for Lyon. He was an option for us,” he revealed.
