Persib – Persib got the sanction from PSSI Disciplinary Committee to conduct the home match outside Java with no spectator until the end of the season.

Regarding this matter, Persib Bandung once have a plan to make Serui, Papua, as their home for the remaining competition of Liga 1.

The plan responded by PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) as the competition operator. The organization led by Berlinton Siahaan won’t mind about that. However, the Pangeran Biru team have to follow the regulations.

However, Persib canceled the plan to make Serui as their home base. But, they will still choose Papua, at Mandala Stadium to conduct the 24th-week of Liga 1 against Madura United on October 8, 2018.

PT LIB let Persib choose any home base, as long as it’s outside Java and approved the properness to conduct a match.

“Principally, it’s up to them to choose any stadium as long as the stadium is verified y PT LIB. If the stadium isn’t verified, we won’t give the permission,” said PT LIB CEO Risha Adi Wijaya to reporters.

“As long as it’s verified and suitable to the regulation, it can be anywhere,” he added.
