Jack Grealish Glad Aston Villa Defeated Arsenal
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Aston Villa player, Jack Grealish said he is happy his team could defeat Arsenal with a score of 1-0 in the 2019-2020 Premiere League season at Villa Park Stadium on Wednesday (7/22).
The excitement is because the fate of Villa in the Premiere League will be determined independently without depending on other teams. The victory makes Villa out of the relegation zone which is ranked 17th.
But their position is not safe as if in they lose in the last match against West Ham and Watford win, then they will be relegated. The reason is because Villa with Watford points are equal to 34 points.
“It feels amazing. Since we came back, we might deserve a little more than what we got,” Grealish said.
He said today was a tense day. After this victory, Grealish asked his colleagues to stay focused so that non-degraded goals could be achieved.
Playing against West Ham United are considered a big party and the final must leave all the team’s capabilities. He added, his team played extraordinary and hard to believe could beat the Gunners. He claimed his team played well on every side both defense and counterattack.
One thing Grealish regrets is that Villa should have added an extra goal. Against West Ham could also be Grealish’s last match at Villa Park because his future is still unclear.
Manchester United is a team that tempts Grealish to move. However, Grealish did not want to talk about his future. He prefers to focus on the match to ensure Villa stay in the Premiere League. He was not interested in discussing the speculation.
“I’m not too sure right now, I have one goal and that is to keep this club in the Premiere League, where the whole club knows where we are. That’s all I think at the moment and I hope we can do that on Sunday,” he concluded.
