James Rodriguez’s Transfer Saga Has Become a Real Madrid Problem

DBasia.news –  James Rodriguez’s transfer story continues to roll in this summer. Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach, easily said that the James issue had become a club business, not him.

James’s story in the transfer market this summer became a separate transfer saga. After leaving Bayern Munich, after two seasons on loan from Madrid and Bayern not making his contract permanent, James was linked with Juventus, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, and AC Milan.

Napoli was initially made a strong candidate to recruit James because they were trained by Carlo Ancelotti, ex-coach James. However, Napoli only offers a loan scheme with a permanent option at the end of the contract and this is not something that Madrid wants.

El Real is also reluctant to sell it to Atletico, which is a direct rival in Spain. While the latest news, Jorge Mendes, James’s agent, offered his client to the Rossoneri. James is considered ideal in 4-3-1-2 Marco Giampaolo tactics.

Zidane didn’t care about James’s future. That, according to Zidane, will be determined by Florentino Perez, as President of Real Madrid.

“This (James’s fate) is a club problem. This is something between them – the President – not me,” Zidane said briefly, as reported by the Goal.

The plan to play Zidane for the new season also did not change even though Marco Asensio was seriously injured, plus Madrid loaned Dani Ceballos to Arsenal. Likewise, the fate of James, who had been predicted to leave this summer.

“We are working with players who are here. We are thinking about the first league game. Nothing has changed. I did not think about it, the player who will replace Marco, no,” Zidane stressed.
