Javier Pastore Pessimistic that Serie A Can Be Resolved
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AS Roma midfielder, Javier Pastore, is pessimistic that the Serie A can continue, when the COVID-19 pandemic hits the European country.
“We’ll see whether we will return to play this season or next season. To be honest, in my opinion it will be impossible to finish the season, as we need at least 20-30 days of training to prepare ourselves,” Pastore explained.
“All clubs will lose money, but in my opinion it is impossible to continue what has been left behind. Sooner or later it will end, so let’s move to the next season,” he added.
Serie A was officially stopped on March 10 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last match of the Italian League that was still played was the Sassuolo match against Brescia on March 9.
Earlier, president of the Italian Footballer Association (AIC) Damiano Tomassi had stated that the Italian League could potentially be rolled back in May or June.
