Joachim Loew Admits Germany Deserves to Lose from the Netherlands
By db-admin
DBasia.news – German coach Joachim Loew admitted Manuel Neuer et al. did not play well when they lost 2-4 to the Netherlands.
Loew said the Dutch national team dominated the game over the German national team. Therefore, he considered losing 2-4 fairly appropriate for his team.
“I’m certainly disappointed with the final results. The Netherlands is the team that performed better throughout the 90 minutes. We deserve to lose. I never felt we could control the game,” said Joachim Loew.
“We too often lose the ball when attacking and have never been able to get into dangerous areas. In the second half, the Netherlands applied more pressure so we could not develop the game. Manuel Neuer received so many passes. That’s not the game we want.
