DBasia.news –  Chelsea has began to rely on young and powerful academic players. John Terry gave advice to the young player, especially regarding mental issues.

Throughout the 2019/2020 season before the English League was suspended due to the Corona virus pandemic, Chelsea often used the services of its young players. There is Tammy Abraham as the league’s top scorer in the league, Mason Mount, to the latest, Billy Gilmour who is still 18 years old.

Reported by Metro, a former player and legend of Chelsea, John Terry seemed thrilled that Chelsea entrusted young players. As is known, since 2000 John Terry is the only academy player who continues to play and be successful!

“My message to young Chelsea players is to be mentally prepared. When there is time to show ability, then do your best,” he explained.

John Terry admitted, young players could appear nervous and could instead play poorly when played. Therefore, he appealed to the Chelsea players to be ready at any time.

“There used to be the name Rob Wolleaston, a young Chelsea player and my colleague. When in training he performed well and I know his quality.

“Be mentally prepared and do not waste opportunities. Especially now that Frank Lampard (Chelsea manager) has entrusted young players, then now is the time to prove yourself,” he concluded.
