Joining Barcelona, Malcom No Comment About Roma
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Brasilian winger, Malcom admits that he’s happy to leave Barcelona in the 2018 summer transfer market. In fact, he was previously agreed to join AS Roma.
The saga of Malcom transfer got more intense during the last seconds. After AS Roma and Bordeaux claimed the agreement, Barcelona came with 42 million euro offer. With no further thinking, Malcom and Bordeaux canceled the flight to Roma for a medical check-up to join Blaugrana.
Currently, AS Roma is considering to bring this case to the court. Il Giallorossi felt that Bordeaux and Malcom’s agent are violating the verbal agreement between them.
Though his transfer is problematic, Malcom doesn’t give a fuss. In his first statement after joining Barcelona, he didn’t mention AS Roma at all.
“This is a unique experience. I feel really happy. It’s a dream come true to come to one of the biggest clubs in the world,” he told Barca TV.
“I hope to make the fans happy. I’m really looking forward to meeting my team-mates, to talk to them and find out more about the way we play,” Malcom explained.
“I’m really excited and in a hurry to get started. It’s difficult to explain the feeling. It’s a dream come true since I was young,” he added.
Barcelona expect Malcom presence as the option for Ernesto Valverde in the left wing. Moreover, Ousmane Dembele performance is still far from perfect.
