Jordan Henderson Believes Liverpool Has a Strong Mentality because of Jurgen Klopp

DBasia.news –  Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is considered as someone who has managed to bring the club to possess a strong mentality. Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson, sees Klopp as having a big role in Liverpool’s match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool won 2-1 over Tottenham in the continuing English League match at Anfield, Sunday (10/27) PM. The Reds were left behind in the first minute by Harry Kane’s goal until the break.

In the second half, Henderson scored the equalizer, before Mohamed Salah’s penalty confirmed the hosts’ three points. According to Henderson, Liverpool are now always able to get out of difficult situations because of their mentality.

“Our mentality has grown over the last few years.  “The manager has changed so much in us and has a fantastic mentality throughout the squad,” Henderson said at Soccerway.

Henderson also demands his team to be more consistent.

“Every time we face difficulties, we bounce back and we need to carry it all as it won’t go our own way. It will be challenging at times like now. “

“But it’s about going through it all, encouraging each other and always believing,” Henderson added.

Thanks to the victory over Tottenham, Liverpool are firmly at the top of the standings. The Reds collected 28 points, six ahead of Manchester City in second place.
