Jordi Alba Is Surprised Not Getting the Contract Renewal

DBasia.news – FC Barcelona left-back, Jordi Alba, hasn’t offered to renew his contract with Blaugrana. The fact is a strange situation for him. However, Alba remains calm and focuses to give the best.
Alba’s contract at Camp Nou would end on June 30th, 2020. It means the Spain international player is still in contract with The Catalans for the next 18 months. It’s reasonable that he feels surprised because so far he is always the main option for the squad.
“I have no news (on my renewal), but I’m calm because I’m doing things well,” Alba said cited by Football Espana.
“I don’t know what the club are thinking. It’s strange because I don’t have much of by contract left, but I plan to end my career here.”
Alba also responds Football Leaks allegation saying that Sergio Ramos has failed to comply with anti-doping protocol twice. He thinks the back and captain of Real Madrid is innocent.
“There are few professionals like him. He’s given his life for Madrid and the national team. I think he’s acted correctly and that what’s been said about him isn’t true,” Alba revealed.
“It’s not my place to comment, but I don’t like nonsense being spouted.”
