Jose Mourinho Comments on Manchester United’s performance
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur’s manager, Jose Mourinho, said his former club, Manchester United, had been shaded by luck this season. However, Mourinho admitted that the Red Devils deserved to finish in the top four positions.
Man United packed the same number of points with fourth-ranked, Leicester City after winning 2-0 against Crystal Palace on Friday (7/17) AM.
In the last match, the Red Devils will face Leicester to determine who would be entitled to receive a Champions League ticket. Mourinho said his former club needed the luck even though they have been unbeaten in 19 matches in all competitions.
“If Manchester United does it, they will do it by playing well in the second half of the season. When playing well, they are worth it,” Mourinho said as quoted by ESPN.
“Above all, everyone knows they are a bit lucky, more than once. Luck that other clubs don’t have, we don’t have that kind of luck, for example.
Man United is somewhat helped by the god of fortune. For example in their last fight after Palace felt that Wilfried Zaha should have been awarded a penalty in the first half and their goal was disallowed because the VAR declared that Jordan Ayew was offside.
