Jose Mourinho Rated Tottenham Hotspur Players in Fit Conditions

DBasia.news – JTottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho said that his key attacker Harry Kane has recovered from his injury and is ready to play against Manchester United in the continued Premiere League on Saturday (6/20).

Kane is not the only “pandemic blessing” for Tottenham, because the suspension of the last three months gives the opportunity for Son Heung-min and Moussa Sissoko who had previously been seriously injured can also be played when playing against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.

The news would certainly be good news for Tottenham who are trying to keep their hopes of breaking into the Champions League zone.

“Those who had surgery, Kane, Son and Sissoko, have all recovered and are ready to play,” Mourinho said in a virtual press conference as reported by Reuters on Thursday.

Kane previously suffered a hamstring tendon tear on January 1st, Son broke his arm in February while Sissoko underwent knee surgery in January.

“Kane worked very well, I can tell you that he has no problem appearing from the start of the match. Will it be for the full 90 minutes, only 80, 70 or 60 minutes? I don’t know yet, we’ll see.”

“Is he already at the peak of performance? That also we don’t know. He was six months absent, but certainly he is an outstanding professional footballer,” he completed.

Despite starting the season with good news, Mourinho said Tottenham’s struggle to break through the top four is still a tough task.

Because Tottenham are currently in eighth place with a collection of 41 points, seven points behind Chelsea (48) who are ranked fourth and four points behind MU (45) which they will face tomorrow.

“It would be better if we started with the same number of points, but the situation is not like that. We started with minus seven or eight from Chelsea and minus 13 from Leicester City, we started with minus from many teams.”

“Of course this is a big challenge that becomes motivation. We will see later at the end of the nine matches what we have achieved and what other teams get,” concluded Mourinho.
