Jurgen Klopp admits Liverpool has performed poorly this season

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp admits his team has not performed well this season. Klopp feels that the Reds have learned many lessons from this decline.

Liverpool’s run was not as fast as last season. Of the 17 matches, Mohamed Salah and his team mates lost twice and drew six. That way, the Reds occupy second place in the standings.

Now, Liverpool will be tested by the top standings, Manchester United. The distance between the two teams in the standings is three points.

In a statement before the match, Klopp admitted Liverpool were not performing optimally. However, according to him, what is happening is still under control.

“Obviously we have not done well since mid-November. However, I am grateful for not thinking about bad things. We still have 33 points,” explained Klopp as reported by the Mirror.

“Indeed, we are not where we want to be. However, we have learned a lot from this season. We learned how to deal with various situations,” said the manager.

“It’s not because of the attitude of the players. It’s just that it doesn’t work. What we have to accept is that when something goes in one game, it won’t work in another. It’s not because we lost something.”

Liverpool have won their last two Premier League home games against Manchester United. However, the Reds are also performing poorly by not winning in the last three matches in the Premier League (two draws and one defeat).
