DBasia.news – Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, is pessimistic the Reds can go through the 2019-20 Premier League without ever losing. Although Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, believes Liverpool can do it.
The first club to be undefeated throughout the season, of course, Arsenal when strengthened Thierry Henry in 2004. In addition, Henry believes Liverpool will be able to win the Premier League trophy.
“If they come here and win, the question is when will Liverpool ensure the Premier League title,” Henry told Sky Sports during Liverpool’s match against Leicester City.
“I think they will win it. In fact, they can win without being defeated. I think they can be invincible,” Henry continued.
Henry’s opinion is different from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. The German tactician tried to dampen expectations when alluded to the possibility of his troops being able to match the achievements of Arsenal who recorded 49 matches without defeat.
“It was very big. I have been in football for a long time and you are asking if that is possible. I don’t think so,” Klopp said.
“I think when with Dortmund we recorded 28 matches (unbeaten) and that is an exception.”
“About this number, I am currently forgetting it. If you tell me later, I will be surprised how high it is.”
