Jurgen Klopp Clarifies Sadio Mane’s Injury Conditions

DBasia.news –  Jurgen Klopp revealed the condition of Sadio Mane’s injury when Chelsea played against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in Week six of the Premier League.

The victory won by Liverpool at the Chelsea headquarters, Stamford Bridge Stadium, on Sunday September 22, 2019 PM, was paid with Mane’s injury. The incident experienced by Mane in the middle of the second round match had an impact on his feet. As a result, the player is unable to continue the match to the end.

Klopp decided to withdraw Mane backwards in the 71st minute. The role of the Senegalese player was also replaced by James Milner. After the game was held, Mane’s left thigh was seen wrapped in a bandage.

Seeing this situation, Klopp agrees that there is a problem with Mane’s leg. The German coach also said the injury suffered by one of his players was quite awful. Even so, he is still uncertain on how further the injury will impact Mane.

“It was a collision on his leg, around his knee and dead-leg, a terrible combination. He was exerting everything, but I think you all saw it, there was a situation that did not work,” Klopp said, as quoted by the official Liverpool website.

“I will tell him when his leg is okay that he can achieve it.  However, there was no chance and we told him to pull out and there was an exchange. That’s it, “said Klopp.
