Jurgen Klopp will Search for an Attacker on the January Exchange

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp, has admitted that he would look for an attacker in the January transfer window. That step will be taken if Rhian Brewster leaves his loan status.

Brewster, who is 19 years old, can be loaned out in the New Year if he finds a suitable club to give him more playing time to improve his experience.

Liverpool hopes he can follow in the footsteps of winger Harry Wilson, who has scored six goals in 14 matches as a loan player at Bournemouth and has gained important English Premier League experience after starting in 11 matches.

Aston Villa and Swansea are reportedly interested in using the services of Brewster, but the loan will create a gap in the Liverpool squad.

“Yes, we have to see later. We can’t just lend the players because we have built this squad.”

“We have three (long-term) injuries and four with Paul Glatzel, two of whom were injured during the preseason. Two followed with Joel (Matip) and Fabinho.”

“That gives us a squad of 16 players and I count the players, but we can’t just give loans to players and think it’s good for them, we always have to consider both situations, the players and us.”
