Jurgen Klopp’s message for Liverpool Fans
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The Premier League has resumed after being suspended due to the corona virus pandemic. Juergen Klopp hopes Liverpool fans will provide support from home.
After being suspended since March, the Premier League will resume on Tuesday (7/17/2020) or Wednesday (6/18/2020) AM. While Liverpool will play its first match against Everton at Goodison Park on Monday (6/22/2020) AM.
While the Premier League has resumed, Liverpool can continue the hunt for the title. The Reds only need two wins to lock in the Premier League title.
Although competing without spectators would be different, Klopp has asked Liverpool supporters to stay at home. He promised Jordan Henderson and colleagues would still feel the support of fans from afar.
“So, the league is starting again and we can continue to pursue our big targets and for this we need you, we always need you,” Klopp said in his message to Liverpool supporters on the club’s official website.
“This is still football and still for you. We will be in the stadium and you are at home. I can promise that we will feel your support, I will make the players feel your support. You will still be 80 or 90 percent of our fuel.”
“Stay safe, support us from home. We are still with you and you will never walk alone,” he concluded.
