DBasia.news –  Pochettino, who was recently fired by Tottenham Hotspur, temporarily returned to Argentina, his home country. Mauricio Pochettino insisted he did not mind training in his native land, Argentina.

Now, Pochettino is calming down in Argentina. Although the opportunity to train in Argentina is small, the manager claimed he would accept it if it was in the interest of the family.

“There are many interesting clubs and projects that I can choose. However, for now, the most important thing is to clear my mind after five and a half amazing seasons with Tottenham,” explained Pochettino as reported by Fox Sport.

“I want to increase my ability and rebuild myself to get motivated to train again,” continued the manager.

“I want to return to training in Europe. It is difficult for me to imagine working in Argentina. However, in the interest of my family, I will not refuse to work here,” said the manager.

Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with several clubs, mainly from England. Reportedly, the manager entered the radar of Manchester United and Arsenal.

“Now, I need to calm down and see what happens. I don’t have much time to digest what has happened to me.”

“My first decision was to return to Argentina, return home, and visit family and friends. I will return to Europe and make decisions about the future.”

“The best decision is to return to Argentina to rest for 10 days. At this age, I don’t need a long time to recover. I am open to hearing all the projects offered,” he explained.
