Klopp is aware that it is challenging for Liverpool to Repeat the Era of Man United’s Domination in the Premier League

DBasia.news – Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp said it was impossible for the Reds to emulate the era of Manchester United’s dominance as they approached the Premier League title this season.

Liverpool haven’t won a Premier League trophy since 1990. The Reds often failed despite the great chance of being champions.

However, the fasting title is likely to end this season. The reason, Liverpool is 22 points ahead of second place, Manchester City.

However, Jurgen Klopp does not see that his team is able to continue to master the Premier League in the long term. Klopp considers, what Manchester United has done would be difficult to repeat.

“I don’t think it’s possible to dominate again. Man United has a good combination, an extraordinary manager, an extraordinary player, and the time it takes for players to be in the team,” explained Klopp as reported by Goal.

Manchester United did become king in England from 1992 to 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson trained. At that time, the Red Devils won 13 Premier League titles.

“The substitutes he achieved are always amazing. There’s also money there. The combination of Manchester United is great.”

“We must have done something right to get to this point. However, we must continue to do these things to stay successful,” he added.

Klopp predicts that the competition in the Premier League will be tighter. For this reason, it’s hard to be a team that dominates the Premier League for a while.

“In addition, believe that other teams won’t stop. Man United will get back and Chelsea are ahead in terms of transfer. When I saw Machester City beat Arsenal, I thought how could we be 22 points more than them,” Klopp continued.

To get closer to the title, Liverpool needs to defeat Everton, at Goodison Park, Sunday (6/21) local time. Afterwards, the opponent that needs to be defeated by the Reds is Crystal Palace.
