Lazio Prepare Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s Substitute
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly being targeted by Paris Saint-Germain. Lazio was reportedly already preparing a replacement if the Serbian midfielder leaves.
French media Le10sport reported that PSG has offered 60 million Euros to get Milinkovic-Savic. His expertise playing many roles and positions in the midfield attracted the attention of many famous clubs.
In addition to PSG, last month Manchester United was also reportedly interested in him. The Red Devils wanted to recruit Milinkovic-Savic if Paul Pogba returns to Juventus.
Lazio obviously don’t want to lose their star player. But their Sports Director, Igli Tare, had anticipated the worst situation.
“There is already one player in my mind (to replace Milinkovic-Savic),” Tare told Sky Sport Italia.
“But I will not mention his name. I would rather kill myself,” joked the Albanian man.
The role of Milinkovic-Savic is almost irreplaceable this season. Played as a central midfielder, he has only missed once in Serie A this season, and has packed 4 goals and 5 assists for the Biancoceleste.
