DBasia.news – Adam Lallana has decided to part with Liverpool after his contract expires. After leaving the Reds, Lallana will reportedly join Brighton with a term of service for the next three years.
TalkSPORT reported, the announcement of Adam Lallana joining Brighton from Liverpool will circulate no later than next week.
The former Southampton player was also mentioned to be receiving offers from a number of clubs. However, he has chosen to join Brighton.
The closeness between Dan Ashworth, Brighton Technical Director with Adam Lallana became the bridge for the transfer.
Adam Lallana finished his six-year career with Liverpool by winning the Premier League. He will be free from the transfer status after the Reds’s managment refuse to offer him a new contract.
Adam Lallana’s contract was due to expire on June 30. However, Liverpool decided to provide a short-term contract so that Adam Lallana could enjoy the Premier League title.
Adam Lallana’s six-year career with Liverpool must end this season. Leaving the Anfield Stadium, the 32-year-old midfielder wrote a farewell letter and could not hold back his tears.
“There is nothing but love and appreciation for the past 6 years. Thank you to the wonderful people who made this place feel like home,” Adam Lallana’s farewell letter was uploaded on his official Instagram account.
“To the supporters for accepting me and making me feel the way they do. World-class staff – without them, nothing we achieve as a player can be realized.”
“I cannot explain how much they mean to me. They are everything!” continued the number 20 player back in Liverpool.
