After shining at PSG, Verratti’s name has become increasingly popular, one of which comes from the English Premier League, while Barcelona is believed to be a long-time admirer of the creative midfielder.

Verratti admitted that he was aware of the interest in him, but stressed that a move to another team had never crossed his mind.

“The thing I like best is playing football and I do that for a team that targets big aim,” Verratti, who has 319 caps for PSG, told reporters while serving with Italyin the UEFA Nations League.

“During these eight years, I’ve played with champions and it never occurred to me to leave PSG. I’m fine there and we’ll see in the future. “

Verratti has enjoyed great success in France, claiming seven Ligue 1 titles and a number of other domestic titles.

He also helped PSG to the 2019/20 Champions League final, even though his dream of lifting the trophy was shattered by Bayern Munich.

The glory with the Italian national team is also being sought, while there is the potential to win more trophies at club and country level in 2021.

“It was a big blow, but we had a great journey,” said Verratti of PSG’s journey to the Champions League final.

“Bayern did well but reaching the final is always a positive thing. We’ve been trying to achieve it for eight years and it gave us the strength to try again soon.
