Leeds United Manager Says Mauricio Pochettino Will Lead a Big Team
By db-admin
DBasia.news – After Mauricio Pochettino was dismissed from Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United manager, Marcelo Bielsa, revealed the possibility of Pochettino who will train one of the world’s best clubs in the near future. One club often associated with Pochettino is Bayern Munich.
Bielsa was Pochettino’s coach when he underwent his early career as a footballer by defending Argentine club, Newell’s Old Boys.
“I will talk, not about my relationship with Pochettino, but for what I have observed in English football,” Bielsa said, Thursday (11/21).
“The work done by Pochettino is brilliant. Last year, he put Tottenham at a high level in the world (the Champions League final). For any coach, this is a very important achievement.”
“For Pochettino, I think that is even more important because the team that played in the Champions League last year is the team he built carefully.”
“People who work professionally like that receive decent awards.”
“Maybe, he did not achieve it at Tottenham. However, he will receive the credit from the big teams in the world who will try to recruit him. We will wait in 15 days,” he added.
Now, Pochettino had began to be widely linked to fill the empty seat of the German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, which was left by Niko Kovac.
Interestingly, the
Spurs defeat to Bayern with a striking score of 2-7 in the Champions League,
some time ago, became one of the factors of Poch’s dismissal.
