Arema FC vs Madura United

DBasia.news – During the charity match between Arema FC against Madura United at Kanjuruhan Stadium, the club’s high-officials declared their pledge regarding the Liga 1 termination by PSSI.

One of the requests for PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru is the regulation regarding the match ticket. The regulation demanded the ticket quote for the away supporter.

“Every host must provide at least 5 percent from all stadium capacity provided, including the capacity that can be bought by the away team’s supporters in a safe and separated place. This requirement should be considered when the security and stadium conditions aren’t possible to be conducted,” the regulation stated.

The regulation is not obligatory. This would be the gap for the club to ignore it, considering providing the ticket quota for the away supporters, especially related to the security.

“We ask the implementation for 5 percent access for the away supporters. That’s what we will implement slowly, especially for the crucial matches,” said Madura United manager Haruna Soemitro, also the spokesperson for 18 Liga 1 clubs declaring the pledge at Kanjuruhan Stadium.

The goal of the pledge is to establish a peaceful football by presenting the away team’s supporters. No matter how difficult the rivalry is, the host should invite the away team’s supporters to their home, with upgraded security.

This is referring to the rivalry of four teams in Liga 1 this season. For security reason, Persib Bandung supporters aren’t allowed to come to Persija Jakarta, and conversely, Arema FC supporter can’t come to Persebaya Surabaya Surabaya home.
