By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former West Ham United player, Shaka Hislop, advised Liverpool to give up Sadio Mane to Real Madrid if the offer that came was satisfactory. Hislop felt, the Reds would do good business.
Later, Real Madrid was rumored to place Sadio Mane at the top of the coveted list of players next summer. Los Blancos have been attracted by Mane’s actions in recent years. This season, Mane has scored 14 goals plus nine assists.
Reportedly, Real Madrid is willing to spend 140 million pounds to bring in Mane. Hislop believes that the amount is acceptable.
“I consider it better to take it (140 million pounds). If they purchase Sadio Mane for 140 million pounds, I think it is good business,” Hislop explained as reported by ESPN.
“I think he is a great player and you will understand why clubs like Real Madrid are interested. You will also understand why Liverpool continue to be associated with Timo Werner,” he continued.
Shaka Hislop rates, Sadio Mane will not object to Real Madrid. According to him, Los Blancos is still a magnet for players who want to move forward in their career.
“I believe Real Madrid is still a big name from the side of players who want to appear in the world of football. I am aware, Real Madrid is different compared to two or three years ago. However, I feel they still have an allure,” stated the former player.
Liverpool has a fond story for selling important players when interested clubs offer high funds. Aside from Philippe Coutinho, a transfer like that had happened to Luis Suarez’s agreement.
