Liverpool Asked Timo Werner to Hold Regarding the Transfer from Leipzig

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Liverpool still have high interest in bringing Timo Werner. However, the Reds asked Werner and RB Leipzig to be patient about the transfer process.

Werner is tightly linked with Liverpool lately. Like a tit for tat Werner also wanted to leave Leipzig and look for new challenges outside Germany.

Werner’s impressive performance has already made Liverpool and several big clubs glanced at him. He was able to make 21 goals in the first two seasons with Leipzig, then 19 goals last season, and before the season was stopped, Werner has made 27 goals.

Not only good at making goals, Werner can also create opportunities for his teammates. Therefore, Liverpool really desperate to bring him.

Even though the code was tossed together, there was no significant progress in the Werner, Liverpool and Leipzig negotiations. Everything up to now is still limited and it is natural that Werner is doubtful that he will be in red next season.

Reported by the Guardian, Liverpool apparently had contacted Werner’s agent to confirm that they did not play to bring the 24-year-old player. Only, Liverpool need time to manage the transfer budget because of the current corona virus pandemic.

Because, Liverpool must spend 52.7 million pounds to redeem Werner’s contract. Not a small amount of money as Liverpool did not get revenue from tickets and broadcast rights.

Moreover, there is no clarity related to the continuation of the Premier League and when the summer transfer window will open. So that Liverpool asked Werner to be patient a little about the transfer process. Can you, Werner?
