Liverpool Goalkeeper Highlights the Clean Sheets When against Genk
By db-admin
DBasia.news – In the continued match of the Champions League group stage, Wednesday (6/11), Liverpool had just hosted Genk at Anfield Stadium. Liverpool goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, has noticed how his team have just kept three clean sheets in all competitions this season.
Although still undefeated in the Premier League, winning tickets to the quarter-finals of the League Cup, and perched in second place in Group E of the Champions League, Liverpool possess a poor record at the back. Imagine, Jurgen Klopp’s total team have conceded 20 goals in all competitions.
Even in the last four matches Liverpool have conceded goals, including five goals against Arsenal in the League Cup. Compared to last season, this condition is of course the opposite.
Ahead of the match against Genk at Anfield, Alisson highlighted the current difficulties.
I always feel annoyed when we concede. Goals that should have been prevented. “When we conceded something like that, it makes me and the team feel upset,” Alisson stated as quoted by ESPNFC.
“We always have
a common goal of winning and getting clean sheets. Victory is closer if we
don’t concede. When we concede, things get harder. We have to perform better to
get good results,” Alisson added.
