Liverpool is not a player buyer, but a creator of star players

DBasia.news – Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher said he was happy to see the transfer activity of his former team in recent years. Carragher said that the team from Merseyside had become a producer of star players.
Since last season, Liverpool became one of the teams feared in Europe. Under Jurgen Klopp’s command, the Reds played well not only when attacking but also defending.
Liverpool’s slick performance is inseparable from the quality of the squad they have. They have several top players like Salah, Mane, and Robertson. In the eyes of Carragher, the players evolved into world-class players thanks to joining the Reds.
“Robertson came from Hull, Wijnaldum was relegated with Newcastle, Salah had failed at Chelsea, Mane was in the Premier League with Southampton. So, Liverpool doesn’t go to the best clubs in the world and buy the best players,” Carragher said at Soccerway.
“It’s okay to buy players, but what you do with them. Sometimes we forget that. Once you have those players, you have to improve them, and Jurgen Klopp might not get enough credit for that, the work he does as a coach.”
“Liverpool don’t buy superstars, they make superstars,” Carragher added.
The Anfield Gang itself is now at the top of the English League standings. The Reds are 14 points ahead of Manchester City who are below it.
