By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Becoming the captain of Liverpool was the dream of the young men born in Merseyside, especially Liverpool fans. No exception to the Reds right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Trent Alex-Arnold is a product of the Liverpool football academy. It’s been three years since Alex-Arnold appeared for the Reds first team.

During three seasons defending Liverpool, Trent Alex-Arnold has played in 100 matches. This number is quite massive considering that he is only 21 years old.

Trent Alex-Arnold also became a major part of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool squad. In fact, his name entered into the top 30 nominees Ballon d’Or 2019.

Even so, Trent Alex-Arnold was not immediately satisfied. Because the England national team player still has big ambitions wearing the Liverpool captain’s armband.

“I will not be shy to say, being a Liverpool captain is my dream. Whether it comes true or not, it does not depend on me,” Trent Alex-Arnold said.

“It’s not me who has the right to choose who will be the captain. However, I would love to get it. Becoming a Liverpool captain is a dream that motivates me.”

“I felt Liverpool were destined for me. When I was a child, my dream was to play for Liverpool. Now I am living a dream,” added Trent Alex-Arnold.

Trent Alex-Arnold became the youngest player to play in two Champions League finals as a starter. This was done in two consecutive years in 2017-2018 and 2019-2020.
