DBasia.news – The series of injury happened to Liverpool defensive line. Joel Matip, Nathaniel Clyne, Joe Gomez, and recently, Trent Alexander-Arnold, added the list of injured players under Jurgen Klopp era.
As cited by Liverpool Echo, the right-back position of The Reds is worrying since Trent Alexander-Arnold became the second player that would absent against Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday (16/12) during the 2018/2019 Premier League competition.
Alexander-Arnold might absent against The Red Devils due to the injury on his leg against Napoli in the last match of Group C 2018/2019 Premier League.
The right-back might be filled by James Milner, who previously played in that position when Liverpool won 4-0 against Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.
Clyne is the player that that would fill the right-back position if Alexander-Arnold skips, but the former Southampton player is not in the ideal position to play in a high-intensity match. He is still recovering from the injury recently.
