DBasia.news –  Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp indicated his team would not spend heavily in the transfer market this summer.

The European champions have so far only recruited one player namely Dutch young defender Sepp van den Berg of PEZ Zwolle at 1.3 million pounds.

Klopp’s Liverpool started his preseason and they managed to shave Tranmere through a landslide score 6-0 at Prenton Park. A match where Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster scored twice.

Klopp was pleased with his foster children, especially Brewster, and he did not forget to welcome the return of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as both felt like recruits.

“We have brought them. Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rhian Brewster, they didn’t play last year. All the young players who play today, they are new players for us,” Klopp said as he was asked about the plan to purchase new players.

“We’ll see what we will do, but I don’t think this will be a big and draining transfer window.”
