DBasia.news – Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi are no longer young. FC Barcelona are looking for the new young striker to regenerate the attacking line. Mundo Deportivo reported they are eyeing Andre Sil
va, the on-loan player of AC Milan in Sevilla.
Lionel Messi isn’t running out of fuel yet despite his 31. This season, the Argentinian player scored 17 goals in 18 matches of all competitions. Meanwhile, Luis Suarez who is also above 30, is still productive by scoring 10 goals.
However, Barcelona won’t take the risk by depending on Messi and Suarez for the club future. El Barca think they would face a difficulty if not preparing the successor of both players.
Hence, Barcelona are looking for the potential player. One of the targets is Andre Silva. Currently, Silva is on-loan to Sevilla.
AC Milan chose to send him to Sevilla after his average performance last year. Unfortunately, the decision was a boomerang. Silva performed impressively and reported the club would sign him permanently.
So far, Silva is one of the important actors behind Sevilla’s performance. The 23-year-old player has scored 9 goals of all competitions.
Another player listed in Barcelona radar is Celta Vigo striker, Maxi Gomez. The 22-year-old player stole the attention by scoring 8 goals in 14 caps. Gomez has a good relationship with Suarez because both are Uruguay national team players.
Barcelona would visit Levante’s home in the 2018-2019 LaLiga match at Ciutat de Valencia Stadium, Sunday (16/12) local time. Ernesto Valverde squad need the victory to go further from Atletico Madrid.
