DBasia.news – Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte admits his team are psychologically in a difficult time due to losing their defense line player Achraf Hakimi four hours before the Champions League game again Borussia Moenchengladbach starts. Hakimi can’t play after he was stated tested positive for the corona virus.

Hakimi becomes the seventh player at Inter who was tested positive for the corona virus in the last two weeks. One of them was Alessandro Bastoni who has recovered and return as a substitute player at the second half when they were held draw 2-2 by the German representative at the Giuseppe Meazza, Thursday (22/10).

“Clearly it’s not easy today to accept the news at five o’clock that Hakimi was tested positive for the corona virus,” said Conte as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (22/10).

Hakimi has had trained with Inter until Wednesday morning Milan local time. Conte has planned to play him and has prepared some tactical situation for him. Unfortunately Inter must face the corona problem. Conte said to his players to keep going and put their head up.

“It’s also not easy on the psychological perspective, but the players showed that the most important thing for them is human and not just football players,” he added.

Conte said, he can’t remember Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic did any save in the match where the Budesliga team scored a goal from their two on goal attempts.

“We played well against a team with big potential, I don’t have any reason to blame the players, even though we can play any better but that’s maybe because we made some mistakes at some situations,” he concluded.
