Achraf Hakimi admits he was surprised by Lionel Messi’s attitude

Messi’s arrival to Las Parisiens was a surprise for Hakimi, who first joined. The former Inter Milan felt that playing with Messi was easy.

“Building a technical relationship with him is easy. I give him the ball. Then, I run and he give the ball back where it belongs,” Hakimi told L’Equipe.

Hakimi considers, Messi is not at all conceited with his megastar status. In fact, Messi’s behavior is very simple.

“I was surprised by the way he behaved. He was simple and quiet,” added the former Real Madrid player.

Hakimi did not want to waste the opportunity to take knowledge from Lionel Messi. Hakimi had no idea that Messi would follow him to PSG.
