Losing from Leicester City, Jenas Criticizes Arsenal Like Having No Strategy

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Jermaine Jenas, a former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, sees Arsenal appear to have no strategy against Leicester City.

“Arsenal don’t look good. This is their first time playing with three defenders. They don’t have a plan and have absolutely no direction,” Jenas said at Soccerway.

Arsenal fell 0-2 in the hands of Leicester in the continued English League match at King Power Stadium on Sunday (11/10/2019) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Host goals scored by Jamie Vardy and James Maddison.

With this victory, Leicester rose to second place standings with 26 points. The 2015/2016 English League champions are on goal difference over Chelsea and are one point ahead of Manchester City. While Arsenal is at number six with 17 points.

According to Jenas, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his friends seemed to lack confidence in the field.

“When they have the ball going forward, they don’t have confidence and they don’t want to play it forward. They stepped back, then they went to the side.”

“It looks like they are waiting for the ball to be taken from them and Leicester don’t disappoint. Arsenal are not good enough to play in that system and will always make mistakes,” Jenas said.

Arsenal themselves have been drought victorious in the last five matches in all competitions. The details, the Gunners lost twice and the rest draw.
