Lucas Hernandez Moves to Bayern Munich to Get Out of the Comfort Zone
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Lucas Hernandez became one of the star players brought in by Bayern Munich in the 2019 summer transfer market. He became an attempt by the German football giant to gain players in the back line that they could use in the long run.
The French defender came to Bayern Munich after Atletico Madrid accepted an offer of 75 million euros. Now the player is Niko Kovac’s first choice at left back.
Nevertheless, it was not easy for Lucas Hernandez to play for Die Roten. He claimed his decision to choose the Bundesliga giant was a way out of the comfort zone.
“There are other clubs who are interested and I also have everything I need at Atletico Madrid. I put everything on the table and thought about it. I then spoke with my family until I finally decided it was the right time to leave, “Hernandez said to France Football, Tuesday (10/15/2019).
“I want to experience a new life in a different city, culture and country. Bayern was according to what I wanted. I also want to put myself under pressure, join different clubs and languages and put myself in danger. “I came here leaving the comfort zone that I received at Atletico,” he continued.
The 23-year-old player has collected seven appearances in all events with Die Roten this season. His presence at the same time has made the position of David Alaba be often shifted by Niko Kovac.
