Lucas Moura Tells Tottenham not to be Whiny
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur is losing Harry Kane and Son Heung-min at the same time. But this is not a reason for Lucas Moura to keep fighting.
Kane first entered the treatment room due to a thigh injury he suffered last January. Kane underwent surgery which made him absent for at least until the end of the season if his condition is to really recover.
Continuing to try to eliminate dependence on Kane, Tottenham received another bad news last weekend. Son suffered a broken arm and had to undergo surgery which made him be pulled over until the end of the season.
Kane is the team’s top scorer with 17 goals in all competitions, followed by Son with 16 goals. Losing two goal machines is certainly detrimental to the Spurs who are trying to climb into the top four.
Moreover, they still appeared in the Champions League and FA Cup. Not only goals that are difficult to be replaced by other players, but also the team’s morale will be interrupted by the injury of Kane and Son in the near future.
The 0-1 defeat of RB Leipzig in the first leg of the top 16 of the Champions League became proof. However, Tottenham shouldn’t whine about their current conditions and try to keep winning with the current squad.
“We lost two main strikers, but we can’t be whiny. That’s football. All teams have problems like this,” Lucas Moura said as quited by Sportskeeda.
“I will give my best so I can score a lot of goals. I will appear 100 percent and we will face Leipzig in the second leg with a strong mentality. We have the quality to be able to appear good and qualify,” continued the player who has scored seven goals in the whole competition.
